Condition of Books

Our books are brand new. However, they can occasionally arrive to our store with very slightly bent or scratched edges due to the shipping process from the manufacturer. This is unavoidable.

Note: Books marked on SALE or CLEARANCE will most likely show signs of aging and wear.

Our Price Guarantee

We will match the verified price of any product from any authorized retailer in Canada. All of our prices are in Canadian dollars. Taxes are charged based on destination. There are no taxes on international orders.

If you’re local to Ottawa, you can place your order online and choose “Pick Up” when selecting your delivery method at checkout.

Shipping — Canada & USA

All orders that require shipping will be shipped via Ups, Canpar, Canada Post, etc.... When selecting a shipping method, the estimated delivery time appears under each option. A tracking number will be emailed to you upon purchase.

U.S. Customer Notice

Granata Music is a Canadian retailer. Any orders shipped to the United States may be subject to import duties, tariffs, brokerage fees, and applicable taxes upon delivery. These fees are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost and must be paid by the buyer. Granata Music is not responsible for delays or additional charges caused by customs clearance and cannot predict or control these fees. We do not offer any refunds related to Tarrifs. If you wish to pre-pay the tarrif please message us after the initial purchase.

Return Policy — Online Orders

  • Regular priced products may be returned for store credit within 14 days of purchase.
  • Returned products must be in originally shipped condition and include: original invoice, packaging, manuals, and warranty cards.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Credits are processed within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the return.
  • Returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
  • Customers are responsible for any shipping costs required to return products to Granata Music.
Final Sale: Items on SALE or CLEARANCE are final sale.

Damaged During Shipping

If you receive a regular priced book that appears to have been severely damaged during shipping, we will open an investigation with Canada Post. These investigations can take 3–10 business days. Our response will be based on their findings.

Discounts: Additional discounts cannot be combined if an item is already reduced on sale.
