Guitar Protection Plan
Keep your new instrument playing right.
A regular guitar setup at Granata Music is $130. With the Granata Protection Plan, you get up to 4 approved in-store service visits per year for only $99. Use it for setup labour, adjustments, inspections, and approved minor repair labour. The plan must be purchased at the same time as your eligible guitar or instrument.
One setup can already cost more than the plan.
The value is simple. If you use the plan even once for approved setup labour, it can already pay for itself. If you use all 4 service visits, the labour value can be much higher than the plan cost.
What this plan does
The Granata Protection Plan is an optional service plan for customers who purchase an eligible instrument from Granata Music. It helps cover approved in-store labour for setups, adjustments, inspections, and minor repairs while keeping the rules clear.
| Plan length | 12 months. The plan lasts for one year from the enrolment date. |
|---|---|
| Purchase timing | The plan can only be purchased at the same time as the eligible guitar or instrument. It cannot be added after the original purchase is complete. |
| Service visits | Customers can come in for up to 4 covered service visits per 12-month period. Each visit must be approved after an in-store assessment. |
| Payment | The plan is $99 per year. There is no monthly subscription option. |
| What is covered | The plan covers eligible service labour for approved setup, adjustment, inspection, and minor repair work. This means the time and work from our service team may be covered. |
| Humidity rule | Humidity-related service is only considered if the customer purchased a guitar humidifier from Granata Music with the instrument and has used proper humidity care. Even then, coverage is limited to approved adjustment labour, such as truss rod, action, or playability adjustments. Serious humidity damage, cracks, warping, lifted bridges, loose braces, or a guitar that is dried out or damaged beyond adjustment is not covered. |
| What is not included | Parts are not included. Strings, tuners, pickups, electronics parts, nuts, saddles, bridges, humidifiers, accessories, and other physical items are purchased separately. |
| Transfer | The plan is non-transferable. It stays with the original customer and original covered instrument. |
| Replacement | Full instrument replacement is not included. The plan is for approved service labour on your existing covered instrument. |
| Cancellation | Customers can receive a full refund within 14 days of enrolment, as long as no service visit has been used. |
You do not have to wait until something is broken.
A lot of instruments need small adjustments throughout the year. Seasonal changes, string changes, playing style, and regular use can all affect how an instrument feels. This plan gives you a simple way to bring it back in and keep it playing comfortably.
Better playability
If your guitar starts buzzing, feels too high, or becomes harder to play, you can bring it in for an approved service visit.
Seasonal checkups
Instruments can shift with weather and humidity changes. A professional check can help catch small issues early.
Peace of mind
Instead of waiting and guessing, you can have our team inspect your instrument and explain what it needs.

When should you bring your instrument in?
You do not need to be an expert. If something feels off, bring it in. These are common reasons customers use a service visit.
It feels harder to play
If the strings feel too high, too low, or uncomfortable, your instrument may need an adjustment.
It buzzes or sounds off
Buzzing, uneven notes, or tuning problems can often be checked through a setup or inspection.
It will not stay in tune
If your guitar keeps slipping out of tune or feels unstable, we can check the setup, hardware, and tuning stability.
