Product information

Description

The G7th Newport is a lightweight, low-profile capo for 6-string steel-string acoustic and electric guitars. It clamps on with a flip lever, and a tension knob lets you fine-tune the pressure while it's on the neck, so it holds the strings with no more force than it needs and your guitar stays in tune.

Our take
G7th makes some of the most dependable capos around, and the Newport is their simple, no-fuss model. It goes on and off in a second and stays out of your fretting hand's way.

Key features

  • Flip-lever clamp for fast on and off
  • Fine-tune tension knob, adjustable while on the neck
  • Silicone rubber wrap protects the neck and finish

  • Lightweight, low-profile design
  • Lifetime warranty from G7th (register online)

Good to know

  • Will it fit a classical guitar? No. Classical guitars have wider, flatter necks. Ask us about a classical capo.
