About this item

Washburn AF5K-A-U

Every journey starts somewhere and the Washburn AF5K-A Apprentice F5 is a trustworthy place to begin.
Washburn's experience ensures you get a guitar that is the perfect balance of stability, tone and cosmetics. It features a premium spruce top with mahogany back and sides for a full rich tone. Those seeking a guitar that sounds great, looks great, plays great and will serve them well as they progress will find the Apprentice series perfectly suited to them. As one begins their journey, protecting your guitar against knocks and scratches is essential. All Apprentice 5 guitars are priced including a hard shell case.
Folk Body
The Folk body will be more comfortable to play for smaller players compared with the Dreadnought. It produces a focused, intimate sound.
A guitar your can TRUST!
Washburn has been around since 1883 and is one of the oldest brands in the industry. We know how to make guitars. The Apprentice line of instruments are distilled down to what a great guitar should be before becoming only a "guitar shaped object." In an Apprentice you can trust that you play a perfect balance of stability, sound, and cosmetics. A perfect place to start.
