About this item

Washburn AD5K-A-U

Every journey starts somewhere and the AD5K-A Apprentice D5 is a trustworthy place to begin and includes a hardshell case.
Washburn's experience ensures you get a guitar that is the perfect balance of stability, tone and cosmetics. It features a premium spruce top with mahogany back and sides for a full rich tone. Those seeking a guitar that sounds great, looks great, plays great and will serve them well as they progress will find the Apprentice series perfectly suited to them. As one begins their journey, protecting your guitar against knocks and scratches is essential. All Apprentice 5 guitars are priced including a hard shell case.
The Dreadnought body is known for its bold and robust sound. If you're looking for volume to punch through the jam, the Dreadnought is the guitar for you!
A guitar your can TRUST!
Washburn has been around since 1883 and is one of the oldest brands in the industry. We know how to make guitars. The Apprentice line of instruments are distilled down to what a great guitar should be before becoming only a "guitar shaped object." In an Apprentice you can trust that you play a perfect balance of stability, sound, and cosmetics. A perfect place to start.
