The Epiphone J-200SEC Studio Acoustic/Electric Guitar is a modern take on the historic J-200 Jumbo acoustic guitar, redesigned with modern hardware and electronics. The guitar features a Solid Spruce top and a Select Maple body, which provide a balanced and resonant tone. The 1960's SlimTaper D-shape neck is made from Hard Maple and is joined to the body with a glued-in, set neck joint for increased sustain and stability. Floor Model

Fingerboard/Neck

The fingerboard is made from Pau Ferro and features pearloid "Crowns" inlays for a classic look. The headstock is a Sloped Dovewing design with "Epiphone" in pearloid and a "Pineapple" inlay in pearloid, which adds to the guitar's unique aesthetic. The truss rod cover is a 2-layer design with "EJ" in silkprint, and the truss rod is a 2-way adjustable design for easy neck adjustments.

HeadStock/Bridge

The hardware on this guitar is plated with gold, which provides a touch of elegance. The machine heads are Grover Rotomatic with an 18:1 gear ratio, which allows for precise tuning. The bridge is made from Pau Ferro and has a classic "Moustache" shape that adds to the guitar's vintage vibe. The top binding is a 5-layer design with (W/B/W/B/W), while the back, fingerboard, and headstock are bound with a 1-layer white binding.

Electronics

The Epiphone J-200SEC Studio Acoustic/Electric Guitar is equipped with a revolutionary new Shadow eSonic-II Stereo Dual Pickup System. The system features an under-saddle Fishman Sonicore pickup and a Fishman Sonitone preamp, which is powered by a 9V battery (not included). The eSonic-II system is designed to maintain the guitar's true acoustic tone when plugged in to an amp or PA system, making it an excellent choice for live performances or recording sessions.
